Position Overview: We are actively seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team as Warehouse Loaders/Unloaders for containers. The chosen candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods in and out of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload containers, ensuring that products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Inventory Handling: Assist in counting and verifying goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Safe Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
- Space Optimization: Ensure efficient space utilization when loading goods, taking care to stack items securely and in the correct order.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company and OSHA safety standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to optimize the loading and unloading process.
- Documentation: Assist in recording received and dispatched goods, noting any discrepancies or damage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in loading and unloading, is a plus.
- Certified or ability to become certified in forklift operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and be on your feet for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
